The digital learning experience aims to enable female students in Switzerland and Laos to engage with trade actors at national and international levels and to explore the implications of market-oriented, commodity-based agriculture for sustainable development.

By combining rich data from two research consortia, this synthesis project aims to create a deep understanding of the complex system dynamics that shape the coffee value chain in Laos. The game creates a deep learning experience, disseminates innovative knowledge formats and teaches how to understand complex system dynamics and the opportunities and risks along the global value chain through "learning by doing".
